Retail Marketing Case Study: Sow & Sew Boutique

Sow and Sew Boutique, a mobile local boutique featuring affordable accessories and fashion for tweens, teens and everyone in between hired us to assist them in social media marketing, social media content creation, social media platform management and business development. Owner and fashion-forward entrepreneur Caribeth Shappell was so fun to work with! Caribeth was trusting and open to my ideas and embraced unique marketing concepts that converted to sales.

In addition, Sow and Sew was approaching their first season as an exhibitor at The Devon Horse Show. Our client had no experience at the horse show and wanted to lean on us for content approaches and ideas that would capture and celebrate the beloved traditions the Horse Show is known for.

It has been so fun to see Caribeth’s entrepreneurial dream come true. If you need a cool shopping concept to elevate your festival, fundraiser, family party, church or community event we highly recommend Sow and Sew Boutique. The kiddos will love shopping the boho-chic, Swiftie-centric mobile trailer!

We recommended that Sow and Sew get “outside of her booth” and experience the culture of The Devon Horse Show. That successful marketing strategy included co-branding with some of the legendary show personalities and businesses—like Devon’s official milliner Hats by Katie.
